PTFE Fabric for Insulation Jackets is made from one side PTFE coated glass fabrics and is specifically designed for removable insulation jackets and covers. This fabric offers exceptional UV, chemical, and flame resistance, along with high tensile strength and the ability to withstand temperatures up to 600°F. Compared to silicone fabric, PTFE fabric provides superior performance, including higher temperature resistance (up to 600°F), stronger chemical resistance, better anti-environmental properties, and a self-cleaning surface.
1 Characteristics
*Flame Resistant
*Environment Resistant
*Chemical Resistant
*UV Resistant
*Smokeless
*Non-stick surface, good self-cleaning
2 Applications
Essential for industries such as oil & gas, chemical, military, and others operating in harsh environments. These fabrics are widely used as insulation materials due to their ability to withstand high temperatures, strong chemicals, high pressure, and other extreme conditions.
In applications where pipelines transport various materials—such as steam, natural gas, chemical liquids, and more—PTFE fabrics are available in different colors to indicate the contents inside. Standard color options include grey, black, green, blue, red, and yellow, while custom colors can also be produced to meet specific requirements.
